make fitness fun

Remember when we were kids and running and jumping and skipping was the best thing ever? “Fitness” didn’t even exist as a concept in our minds — exercise was just something we happened to do because it was fun.

So what changed?

We grew up, got busier and started feeling tired because of, well, normal life stuff. And along the way, fitness turned into a chore, a job, a not-so-fun thing that certainly didn’t come to us naturally anymore. Despite this, our old friend Fitness is actually still here, just waiting for us to come out and play again. And that’s why I work with people of all physical levels and ages — to help them change their relationship with health and fitness. To help them make friends with it again.

who I work with

I can work with just about anyone. But I specialize in working with men and women who:

  • Don’t already have an established fitness routine

  • Have medical or situational considerations like osteoporosis or post-pregnancy

  • Are time constrained or don't want to exercise in a gym

  • Want to take their existing fitness program to a new level

my approach

Exercise can have a reputation for being only about weight loss and getting ripped. I encourage people to approach it more holistically. So I develop fitness programs oriented around delivering long-term benefits. Think functional fitness that helps preserve strength, flexibility and balance as we age; and fitness that helps us deal with things like stress and sitting in an office all day.

My goal is to make fitness accessible and achievable for you. So we work with what you have — both in terms of time and equipment — and go from there. Got 10 minutes at the office every day? Great! Have 30 minutes every other day in your neighborhood? We can work with that! You don’t need to hit the gym every day. And, depending on your goals, you won’t necessarily have to radically change your life to see meaningful changes. You’d be amazed how much we can accomplish with just your body weight and a pair of resistance bands (which is a bonus if you travel a lot).

let’s talk!

Don’t know where to start? Let’s hop on the phone for a free 20-minute consultation. I’m super curious about people’s fitness challenges and goals. Once I understand yours, I can give you a sense of how we might work together.
